Recently, we have had affiliates reach out with a concern about an online form that comes in with the claim of losing websites because of nonpayment for “domain renewals,” with a link to purchase another year on their domain. Please ignore these emails and DO NOT EVER enter payment information into any online form.
SourceLink purchases and maintains all domain registrations for our affiliates. As such, you never need to pay separate for your domain or any domain re-registrations- we cover this for you as part of your license with us.
This is just a reminder to always be wary of any kind of online form that comes in. This is especially the case if there is a file attached, and/or a web URL that requests payment of any kind. If you have not already, please be sure to turn on CAPTCHA protection on any Public Open Survey or Web Intake Form you create.
