Beyond the platform. The team behind it.
SourceLink develops software. SourceLink also scales expertise. When an ecosystem needs more than a toolset, when it needs strategy, design, or practitioners in the room to guide the way, we show up.

The SourceLink team
Two decades of ecosystem work, distilled into three ways to engage. Every engagement is tailored for the community we engage with, never pulled off a shelf.
Three ways we engage
Pick the shape that fits the work.
Most communities start with one. Many end up layering two or three over a multi-year relationship.

01 · Advisory
Ecosystem building
Strategy, planning, and hands-on partnership for communities standing up (or rebooting) their entrepreneurial infrastructure. The foundational SourceLink engagement.
- Ecosystem assessment + gap mapping
- Stakeholder alignment and partner onboarding
- Measurement framework tuned to your funders
- Embedded support through launch and beyond

02 · Design
Ecosystem maps
Custom-designed maps and visual artifacts that make an ecosystem legible. Built with your leaders, not delivered from a template. SourceFinder and Resource Rail are the anchor deliverables.
- SourceFinder™ posters: full-ecosystem at a glance
- Resource Rail™ maps: stage-by-stage journeys
- Collaborative design sessions with your partners
- Print-ready files plus digital companions

03 · Voice
Thought leadership
Keynotes, workshops, and facilitated convenings from a team that has lived the work. We speak from the field, not the stage.
- Keynotes and plenary talks
- Hands-on practitioner workshops
- Board and funder briefings
- Multi-org convening design
Every engagement is tailored to the community. What fits a single city doesn't fit a statewide network or a multi-state peer group, so we'll shape the work together in the first conversation.
How we work
Identify. Connect. Empower. Measure.
The work flexes to your community. The four moves don't change.
01
Identify
We map every entrepreneurial resource in your community and make the gaps visible. You can't connect what you can't see.
02
Connect
We bring founders, partners, and resources together through a central hub. One place to land, one place to look.
03
Empower
We engage, listen, and respond with your partners to solve real problems and close ecosystem gaps.
04
Measure
We measure impact in a way that fits your ecosystem's actual stage of development, not what a generic dashboard expects.
The network
A platform, and the people behind it.
Every SourceLink affiliate is an ecosystem builder solving what you're solving. The software is what we ship. The network is what keeps it honest.
Monthly
Feature showcase. Most of what ships starts with an affiliate request. The rest is work we think the network needs before anyone asks. Either way, we show you what made it in and what's coming next.
Quarterly
Knowledge sharing. Affiliates teaching affiliates what's actually working in their state right now. No slides from us, just practitioners sharing what moved the needle.
Annually
In-person summit. The whole network in one room. Numbers get shared. Playbooks get swapped. Relationships get built that last longer than the conference.

Why SourceLink consulting
A team that has run an ecosystem before they ever sold one.
Half of our consulting team has spent years inside affiliate organizations: pulling reports, herding partner orgs, and explaining the work to a board that just wanted "the number."
That shows up in how we work, in how we talk to your funders, and in the language we hand back to you. We're not arriving from a consulting firm playbook. We're arriving from the same side of the table you're on.

“One of the great things about the SourceLink platform is that it is so flexible, and the sky’s the limit as to how you can use these tools. The platform has a deeper dive that shows the breadth and depth of resources available to the partners and entrepreneurs in Iowa.”
