The Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center is the Missouri Department of Conservation's urban nature center serving the Kansas City metro. We provide free experiential programming for Missouri school districts and free experiential public programs for youth, families and adults. Programming focuses on the plants, animals and habitats of Missouri as well as skills that enhance time spent in nature such as birdwatching, native plant gardening, hunting & fishing and camping.
