In an effort to continue this trend and encourage startups to keep growing and scaling, Steve Case and his company Revolution created Rise of the Rest.
Rise of the Rest is a nationwide tour where Steve Case and his team visit five cities in five days investing $500,000 in local startups. Their mission (and our passion) is to encourage the growth of startup ecosystems outside of Silicon Valley.
To celebrate the Rise of the Rest 6.0 tour, Steve Case and his team are kicking off a friendly challenge for all 26 of the past tour cities. The Rise of the Rest team will be bringing the bus back for a repeat visit to one of the past tour stops where they will meet with local entrepreneurs, explore the local ecosystem and invest in $100,000 in a local startup.
