SourceLink welcomes Dara Macan as its new director of business development. Macan will lead the effort for global expansion of the SourceLink network, helping communities across the nation and around the world build stronger entrepreneurial ecosystems and create an environment where entrepreneurship can flourish.
“I’m passionate about connecting people,” said Macan, whose career has been built upon creating partnerships that help all partners achieve their strategic goals. From developing multimedia strategies for economic development organizations to managing sales teams to leading one of Kansas City’s renowned publishing company, Macan has a wealth of experience in bringing diverse teams together under a common vision.
“I look forward to bringing the right people to the table who can help local communities build stronger communities and energize entrepreneurial ecosystems,” she added.
“With Dara on our team, we’re ready to build on the momentum from our most recent launches in Baltimore and Puerto Rico and from our partnership with JPMorgan Chase in Denver, Seattle, Tampa Bay, Phoenix and Dallas, ” said Maria Meyers, director of the UMKC Innovation Center and founder of SourceLink. “We look forward to helping more communities build entrepreneurial ecosystems, connecting entrepreneurs with relevant, on-the-ground resources that they need to succeed and sharing best practices nationally and internationally.”
