Scheduling Client Follow-ups

John at NetWork Kansas routinely uses Biz-Trakker’s follow-up system. He was interested in having the option to not only specify the day on which to follow-up with a client, but also the time. In this release we have added the ability to specify the time on which a follow-up is to occur. The Follow-up report, CL128, has also been updated to show the scheduled follow-up time.

Improved Client Data Import Routine

In July we introduced the ability to create new client records and or update existing client records using a CSV/Excel batch upload routine. This month we make a few improvements to the routine:

  • New client records can be created either as Individuals or Companies: Previously all new records were created as Company clients. Now, any record without a company name uploads as an individual client. Records with company names upload as Company records.
  • Notification of rejected/failed uploads: If a row in the file is not successfully uploaded, a notification is provided to the user as to which row was rejected and why. If a row in the file is missing a client name, for example, it would be rejected.

Providers without referrals report: RF301

Brande at KCSourceLink was interested in knowing which of their providers had not received referrals within a given timeframe. Knowing this, she said, would help keep team aware of their referral patterns and more effectively utilize all providers within their network. RF301 now addresses this need.

The Resource Navigator®

Opening Profiles

Functionality has been added allowing users to search for profiles by provider name, contact person name, or description keyword (“funding, manufacturing, loan”, etc.)

Clarity of Resource Navigator and Resource Directory Descriptions

Some users expressed confusion caused by the labels for and sequence of these two description fields in the Resource Navigator Database. To provide more clarity, we have renamed them simply as Short Description and Long Description. We have also changed the order in which they appear on the Provider Reports (CT320 and CT350) to match their sequence on the actual Descriptions and Logo Tab

Duplicate Profile Notification

Users of the Resource Navigator Database are now notified when they attempt to create a profile that already exists in the database.

Ability to Change Report Parameters After Running a Report

Users can now modify a search from within a report by changing the Start Date, End Date, Provider Name, and or Region parameters as shown at the top of the report.

Promotional Call-out Widget

From time to time organizations want to draw special attention to a major event. We’ve created a new callout feature that, when added to the top of a page, appears when users open that page. The user has the ability to close out of the message and can also specify if they do not want to see it again. This widget can be dropped onto a page just like any other widget.

Searching PDF and Word Documents

The search function now searches content of both PDF and Word documents.
