Biz-Trakker®

Compatibility with Safari (Mac), Chrome and Firefox

You’ve been asking for this feature for quite some time: Biz-Trakker is now fully compatible with the latest versions of all popular browsers! This enhancement is one that we are very excited about and we hope you will be as well. 99% of the work here was under-the-covers, so the only changes you are likely to notice are a few stylistic tweaks in the background on some pop-up windows (Interactions, Snapshots, etc.).

Intake Form Builder for websites

The intake feature has proven very popular since first being introduced a couple of years ago. Deployable on any website, intake forms let clients or service providers fill out a form, submit it and have the information automatically upload to a client record in Biz-Trakker. Intake forms are customizable, allowing for uses such as Request More Information, Become a Client, or Update Your Information.

So, what’s new, you ask? Previously the forms had to be set-up by the U.S.SourceLink team. Biz-Trakker now provides users the ability to quickly create their own custom forms. To do so:

  1. Open Web Intake Forms -> Create Intake Form.
  2. Click Add Web Intake to create a new form.
  3. On the Settings tab you can give the form a name, specify colors and the email address to receive submission notifications.
  4. On the Text Fields tab, enter the text you want to appear on the form.
  5. The Required Fields tab lets you specify which fields to be included and, of those, which are optional and which fields are required.

To place a newly created Biz-Trakker form on a website:

  • For Webplate Now®! websites:
    • Log into your website and open the page where you wish to place the form.
    • Under the SourceLink widgets, click and drag the Intake Form widget onto the page.
    • On the widget, click Edit to specify which of your forms to use, specify the height, then click Save.
    • Click Publish as you normally would to save your changes.
  • To add an Intake Form to another site:
    • From within the form, click the Display Embed HTML button.
    • Copy and paste this code into the website on which you want to deploy the form.

Client Data Import

From time to time you may find yourself needing to create client records in bulk. This new feature simplifies the process by allowing you to enter your new client information into an Excel file, using the sample file format provided, save it to your desktop, then upload the file to create the new client records.

In the image shown below you will notice that there are two sample files available for uploading data. The second file, Biz-Trakker and Resource Navigator can be used if you wish to collect and upload information on Resource Partners to both U.S.SourceLink products.

OK to Email?

This checkbox provides visibility to clients that have unsubscribed from your Biz-Trakker mailings (surveys and event invitations). The field is checked by default when a client record is created.

Report…To see a list of clients that have unsubscribed.

Helpful tip: If you ever need to create a client record and don’t want the client to receive the auto "Thank you for contacting us" email, you can uncheck this box before entering the clients email and the email will not be sent.

The Resource Navigator®

As with client records in Biz-Trakker, you probably will find yourself needing to create multiple provider records in Resource Navigator, especially when initially building out your program. This new feature simplifies the process by allowing you to enter your new client information into an Excel file (using the sample file format provided, save it to your desktop) then upload the file to create the new client records.

This is the most evolutionary jump in Resource Navigator since, well, ever. Searching and filtering resources becomes more integrated into Webplate Now!, providing you with a wider variety of options in how resources can be searched.

The coding is done and final testing is underway. Expect a webinar reveal of the Express Search in the coming weeks.

Integration of Resource Partner social media accounts

The Provider Details window now allows users to "Like" their favorite providers. The page also displays the providers Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter account details.
