Colorado Springs is connecting entrepreneurs with the Resource Navigator® powered by SourceLink

Say hello to Colorado Springs Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC), SourceLink’s newest community in our entrepreneurial network. The Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC works to promote and maintain an economically diverse business climate that creates and retains high-paying jobs in the Colorado Springs region.

Connecting entrepreneurs to the right source at the right time

Colorado Springs entrepreneurs and small businesses owners can now use The Resource Navigator® system to get connected to local resources that offer services they need to start and grow their businesses. The Resource Navigator not only helps entrepreneurs find the right resource at the right time, it also gives administrators the ability to track, measure and report on entrepreneurial requests for the Colorado Springs region.

Colorado Springs Chamber and EDC is the lead organization championing The Resource Navigator database. Already, more than 40 organizations, including Pikes Peak Small Business Development Center, Rocky Mountain Innovation Partners, Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and the El Pomar Institute for Innovation and Commercialization – UCCS, are loaded and ready to be found by owners.

The resource partners in the network provide a range of services, including business plan development, market analysis, financing, operations assistance, education and more. The Resource Navigator will continue to grow as more partners enroll.

Leveraging the SourceLink Network

Entrepreneurship is local—and no two communities are the same. That’s why a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work to grow entrepreneurship. Communities must understand who the entrepreneurs are, what they need, and how they can surround them with local resources that will help them grow.

Because Colorado Springs is now part of the SourceLink network, community leaders will be able to leverage expert consulting and access a network of others who are engaged in entrepreneurship-led economic development and entrepreneurship ecosystem creation.
