Mark Your Calendars: Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit 2018

Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit 2018
Save the date for our second convening of entrepreneurship-led economic developers: Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit will be held April 25-26, 2018, in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit is a practitioner-focused summit designed to help economic development and small business practitioners effectively create economic growth through entrepreneurship in local communities.

At the first summit in May 2016, more than 200 entrepreneurship thought leaders, economic developers and ecosystem builders came together to share, learn, and discuss how to create intentional strategies to build entrepreneurial cultures.

This year, the focus is “Entrepreneur on the Edges: Building Entrepreneurial Ecosystems in Distressed Urban and Rural Communities,” concentrating lowering the barrier of entrepreneurship for underserved communities.

The 2018 summit is produced by the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship, the Edward Lowe Foundation, Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, NetWork Kansas and SourceLink. The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City has again volunteered to sponsor the event, which will be held at their facility in Kansas City.

The summit is limited to 250 participants and registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Do not wait to register as tickets will sell out quickly. Register for the Growing Entrepreneurial Communities Summit today.
